Bird Serpent War

Archeologist and anthropologist, Lucille Taylor Hansen spent years studying Native Americans trying to trace their history back to their roots. She gradually gained the confidence of some of the chiefs and they disclosed information to her which had long been kept secret. Among other things they told her The Bird Serpent war took place between the serpent people (the Atlanteans) who were searching for more land as theirs disappeared – and a lost Indian empire (the bird people). The bird is the condor which is the bird of lightnings – meaning they had some explosive weapons. This is one story that illustrates the details of Native American legends  passed down.
